About Quad Collaborative

Founded in 2020, Quad Collaborative partners with higher education institutions across North America to transform how technology serves campus communities. Five years later, we're relaunching with renewed commitment to address what's broken in higher education consulting.

Why We're Different
Most consultants bring expertise in specific solutions. We bring something unique: 24 years of experience across every side of the higher education technology ecosystem.

Our founder built technology as Director of Development for PowerCampus at SunGard/Ellucian. He scaled professional services practices at Campus Management/Anthology. He consulted independently at Ferrilli building a successful practice. This 360-degree perspective revealed a consistent pattern: institutions deserve better than what traditional consulting delivers.

The Problems We're Solving
Working with over 400 institutions taught us that technology fails when consultants:
  • Apply cookie-cutter solutions without understanding institutional context
  • Overlook the purpose of the project
  • Prioritize billable hours over institutional outcomes
  • Prescribe before they truly listen
  • Focus on project completion instead of long-term success
  • Can't bring the vendor and stakeholders together

We've experienced firsthand how vendor politics, resource constraints, and revenue pressure compromise client service. We've witnessed how the gap between product capabilities and institutional needs creates frustrated stakeholders and failed implementations.

Our Collaborative Approach
Quad Collaborative operates differently. We're Collaborators, not just Consultants.

We invest time to understand who you are, where you're going, and why those goals matter to your community. We listen when you need us to listen. We provide expert guidance when you need direction. We stay committed to your success long after projects close.

Technology alone is never the complete picture. Your people, your culture, your mission—these must drive every decision. We care about your institution and the impact on every stakeholder, especially students.

Our Commitment
We back our work with a money-back guarantee because we believe in accountability. When you trust your commitment to customers, guarantees should be standard, not exceptional.

We're committed to balancing profit with social impact. This structure ensures institutional success and student outcomes always come first.  We will reinvest in our clients and our team members, by sharing profits generated.

We're building a community where institutions have a unified voice with technology vendors.

The Bottom Line
After 24 years across product development, vendor services, and independent consulting, we know what works and what doesn't. We've seen technology succeed brilliantly and fail spectacularly. The difference rarely comes down to technology alone—it comes down to preparing the people and know how to achieve the goals of the project.

Your institution deserves a partner who puts your success first, understands your unique context, and has the experience to deliver results.

Let's collaborate!
