About Quad Collaborative

Quad Collaborative partners with college communities to collaborate on effective means to achieve goals through business process improvements, change management, and when appropriate, the implementation of technology.

While working on projects at almost 400 unique schools, we have experienced recurring themes that have held schools back from effectively achieving their goals. We want to take our knowledge and work collaboratively with schools to review, refine, and ensure success against their unique goals.

Having worked for two decades toward the advancement of technology in education, we are passionate about student success and constant improvement across education.   Over time, we have had many recurring experiences where an institution was pressing forward with technological change  when there were foundational issues that should have been addressed as priority.   In other instances, the community may not have been sufficiently prepared for the change.   This "cart before the horse" scenario, minimized the results or even took some organizations further away from their desired goals.  Other organizations had implemented costly technical solutions, but did not maintain those solutions, leaving them to consider further reinvestment.   Quad Collaborative looks forward to helping clients with foundational business needs, so they are better prepared for technological improvements.   We can help schools rigorously evaluate solutions and benefit from the pitfalls experienced by others.   This approach will ensure that time, money, and the morale of the community, will have the greatest return for the institution and student success.

Our Founder

Dan Mongeluzi, a founder of Quad Collaborative, has more than 30 years of experience in information technology covering all roles across the software development life cycle.  He has led teams to successful deliveries for over 20 years.  In 2002, Dan was introduced to the higher education market when he joined SCT/SunGard Higher Education (currently Ellucian, Inc.), where he was responsible for the development of the PowerCampus product. During this time, Dan developed a true passion for the higher education market. In 2009, Dan joined Campus Management Corp (currently Anthology, Inc.) to help enhance their Professional Services Department. Initially responsible for integration and partner solutions, Dan quickly expanded his responsibilities to include the implementation of SIS, CRM, Finance, Human Resource and Payroll solutions.

Dan has a Bachelor's degree from Neumann University in Aston, PA, and is certified in Project Management/Leadership from Penn State University. He has also been trained as a Certified ScrumMaster and has introduced Agile methodologies to multiple companies. His first hand experience as a parent, guiding his three children through their college selection and achievements, Dan wanted to address recurring themes he was seeing on campuses. To achieve these goals, Dan knew that independence from any specific vendor would be required.

Dan's passion for higher education cannot be surpassed as he sees his children on the other side of every task. He brings that passion to every situation as he desires all students to have the best opportunity for success.   He is an innovative leader and attentive communicator who consistently offers creative solutions and delivers results that exceed expectations.

The "teacher" in Dan has led him to opportunities with youth sports in his community as well as filling volunteer roles with Boy Scouts of America and the YMCA over the past 20 years. Mentoring opportunities in and out of the work environment are always welcomed opportunities for Dan.
